Highlights of G.A.R.S. since 2002
2002: Founded as an informal network of academics, consultants and aviation executives. First seminar in Berlin.
2004: First G.A.R.S. book “The Economic Regulation of Airports” published with Ashgate Publishing
2006: Officially incorporated as non-profit Society in Berlin
2007: Membership increased to more than 100 individual and corporate members
2010: 1st Transatlantic G.A.R.S. workshop held at the University of Maryland, College Park
2012: First European Aviation Conference organized
2013: „Liberalization in Aviation“ – the 5th G.A.R.S. book published with Ashgate
2015-2019: COST Network Air Transport and Regional Development (ATARD)
