About the German Aviation Research Society

The German Aviation Research Society (GARS) is a non-profit, charitable society aiming to foster air transport research in the fields of economics, management sciences and law.

A special focus is on the dialogue between academia and practitioners in companies and public authorities as well as the promotion of young researchers.

Founded in 2002, GARS organizes multiple conferences and workshops every year taking place all over Europe. Currently, GARS has more than 150 members.
